DIET, Hailakandi requires an independent ‘institutional’ identity and character with a focus on academic excellence, so that it can work as a unique, independent institution by using an effective Training Management Systems (TMS).Depending on the activities, the DIET, Hailakandi would have flexible arrangements called working groups on non-permanent basis, rather than pre-formed ‘wings’ or ‘branches’ and will work with the strategy of working organizational groupings by giving responsibilities to individuals and groups. Hence, all types of educational expertise and specializations need to be available within the institution. For this, DIET, Hailakandi must be supported with finances, personnel and autonomy needed to innovate and provide high quality elementary and secondary teacher pre-service and in-service education programmes.
